Album of the Week (from Chris B)

Strip to the Bone - Howie B feat. Sly & Robbie

Invest your energy into appreciating this; you won't be sorry*
Howie B, an incredibly imaginative and tasteful architect of electronica, teams up with Sly Dunbar (drums) & Robbie Shakespeare (bass) aka "The Riddim Twins" - reggae masters.

This is an album that takes its time. The moods: downtempo electronic, catchy reggae, latino, funk or just hard-to-categorise. All of the above contain Howie B's careful sonic layering, much of which was created while Sly & Robbie were playing in the studio.

I've had this for six years, and still discover new points of interest in the details with each listen. So strip down, listen and hear - with a bit of effort you're sure to get the bone.
